We invited Swedish architect Tor Lindstrand to produce AI images of a potential future Råängen. Using photographs and texts from our website, as well as transcripts of conversations Tor held with Råängen project team members, in which he asked them to speak from the future, looking back, he created thousands of strange, unsettling, perhaps hopeful images.

They pose a multitude of interesting questions and are a useful tool for us to consider what our neighbhourhood could become: What or who are we building for? How can images and stories inspire creativity and resonance? How can we build for more than ourselves? How can we let in provocation and things that we have not experienced? When we visualise the future, isn’t it important to take in dirt, disfunction and diversity – all dynamics that are part of life?
